McCormick Place Changes

Posted byAnn Parsons

If you are as eager as I was to learn more about the industry changing law passed in Chicago, here’s a
quick summary of what you will now find when exhibiting at the McCormick Place:

• Exhibitors can now do their own work in a booth using power tools, ladders, and more
• 300 square foot booth rule eliminated
• Power hand tools are allowed
• Focus One is no longer the exclusive electrical contractor
• Ability to hire your preferred catering company
• Straight time window expanded from 6 am – 10 pm
• Non working stewards go away
• Crew size can be modified up or down at any time without penalty

Can't wait to see how quickly other cities fall in line!
